DrZin's Design WorkBase: SBEA3169 Studio 3rd Year Sem 2, 2012-2013: DrZin'sWorkBase Studio Programme INTEGRATOR

Students in my workbase will be divided into 4 groups and they will need to design one of the following projects:-

1. House for young entrepreneurs (House for Progressive and Innovative Youth of the 21^st Century), (Client: UTM & Dewan Perdagangan Islam Malaysia - DPIM).
(User group: 13 - 18 years)
Location: Taman Sri Pulai Perdana (Near Pekan Franchise MARA) or near UTM Innovation Center, Skudai Johor.

2. House for physical and mental disabled youths (Client: Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat-Persatuan Penduduk Taman Sri Pulai Perdana).

(User group: 12 - 17 years).

Location: Taman Sri Pulai Perdana, Skudai Johor (Near Pekan Franchise MARA).

3. House for abused young girls (Client: Raudatu Al-Sakinah).

(User group: 12 - 18 years).

Location: To be identified, somewhere in Skudai or Johor Bahru.

4. House for Newly Revert Muslims (Client: Hidayah Center).

(User group: 15 - 18 years).

Location: Taman Sri Pulai Perdana, Skudai Johor (Near Pekan Franchise MARA).

Please refer to the common SBEA3169 Studio 3rd Year Sem 2 2012-2013 programs on the complexity of the scheme, approximate number of users, the size of the site and other design requirements.

In general, the above design projects must have accommodation for the said users (short or medium periods), administration facilities and appropriate facilities to enable the proposed complex functioning appropriately and efficiently. Students are required to make their own background and literature reviews on the subjects or areas related to the above given project.

Every students are expected to produce building programs, space tabulation and significant contactual element from the surroundings or nearby latest by week four.
